I looked it over, it is what I need on the farm & in the shop.
I have not had a use for it as of today, but you never know when you will need it. I used this same design at work for forty years.
It dose not cut thread like a tap & die, but cleans them up, save time & tears.
I may not need it ,but if I do it will be worth it’s weight in gold.

Kit worked as it should for my project. I needed to redress some threads on a 1964 Impala due to a wheel bearing and hub failure. I cleaned the threads up and was able to save replacement of the spindle. The kit more than paid for itself on that one job.

I’ve been putting off buying one of these things for years because I’m cheap. I have an extension set of taps and diesel but in some applications using a tap or die can adversely affect fit of the tread by removing material, a chasing set doesn’t tend to do that in most cases.
