I had a leaking pool and didn’t want to pay the high fees plumbers were quoting to find the leak especially since I’d already paid someone before, and they couldn’t locate it. Using this inspection camera, I was able to scope the line myself and found the leak with no trouble. Even though the pipes were small (just 1½ inches), I managed to feed over 24 feet of cable before hitting too much resistance. That was more than enough to pinpoint the problem.
For larger pipes, it’s even easier to run the camera the entire length. This little device has already paid for itself!

Camera worked well right out of the box. Clear, bright picture on the monitor. Was able to reach the street connection from the cleanout (about 90 ft). Unfortunately the discovery of small roots growing in through the pipe connection now necessitates a purchase of a drain auger.
