I spent so much time working about the size of the litter box compartment, I didn’t realize it was the size of kiddie furniture. Double check the height of the actual bookshelf part. This thing is way shorter than I expected, and definitely not as nice as I thought it would have for the price. I thought it would be at least my height 5’3″ but the very top is below my eye level. The height ruins it and shows truly how cheap this thing is. I was expecting basic composite materials. However, it was less than what I expected. Assembly wasn’t too bad. I had to take apart something and put it back together because the instructions were a bit vague. It’s easy to move around, so the included wall mount would be a must if your cats are climbers. The screws are cheap, but even worse they didn’t color match to the black part of the shelf’s so there’s just silver screws showing. Not horrible, not the worst purchase of my life. But I definitely just wasted $90 and I am full of regret.

This small enclousure is a great way to hide the litter box from the rest of the room. We love our kitties, but not so much in love with looking at the litter box. This took care of it easily. The litter box itself – this holds an average size, nothing too massive. The assembly was easy, it is easy to clean, and extremely functional. It is a decent height and looks nice in the room.

Took about 45 minutes to an hour to assemble with one person only due to limited space and loads of distractions with kids circling me in the living room. Could take someone else with an extra set of hands maybe 30 minutes without interruption. Not difficult at all to assemble. The only issue I can see being a future problem is the doors on the front of the cabinet; They are already slightly warping in a concave fashion so that they look like they’re sinking into the litter box compartment. From straight on, you can’t notice the warping door panels but you really can from the side. I know that over time the warping will get worse because that is what this type of material does (idk if it is MDF with a laminate sticker on it but that is my guess). Had to buy a smaller litter pan to put inside. Feels extremely sturdy and I didn’t bother to decorate the shelves with photos and keepsakes and, instead, dedicated specifically to the cats. They climb on everything already, anyway so this isn’t any different. Makes me wonder if the design could be shifted from a display shelf to a basic cat tree/ cat hangout with litter at the bottom. Fit in the space perfectly and holds a litter box in a public space of the house without being obvious. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to the already warping sliding door at the bottom, which I see as a potential future issue.
