I almost passed on this baseball style cap, due to the 4.2 star rating. Not certain what these geniuses who rated 1 or 2 stars were expecting from a $10 hat. “It arrived dented / creased / with folds”, were the common complaints. Please! Mine arrived just fine.
I don’t look good in baseball caps, due to my long face. Sometimes, I envy guys who look good in baseball caps, until the cap comes off and realize the cap has covered considerable loss of hair., a physical characteristic of which I have plenty. But, I digress.
The cap height is higher than the low profile cap variety, 6″ height according to the size image. The higher cap height slightly offsets the long face, but I still look like Fred Gwynn, the late actor who played Officer Muldoon in Car 54, Herman Munster, and the courtroom judge in My Cousin Vinny, wearing a baseball cap.
I have a 24″ in circumference head and the buckle adjustment at the extreme length allows the hat to fit comfortably snug on my head. Not going to blow off from a stiff wind.
Going on vacation and needed a hat to wear to protect my head from the sun. This hat will do the trick.
