This is a very good safe for the price. I am actually surprised at the quality, it is much better than I expected. It fits my shotgun well with room to spare for more guns, ammo, etc. The electronic code access is pretty fast, but you have to wake up the screen your hand/finger first before it will recognize your presses. So if your code is three digits long (it can be between 3 and 12 digits long), then you actually have to press FOUR times, once to wake it up and then your three-digit code. I had no troubles opening manually using the keys either. When the door is opened, it almost tips the safe over so you really should bolt it to the wall or floor using the included bolts. There are pre-drilled holes in the safe for this, too. The interior is completely lined with soft material, like felt. There is a light on the door that lights up the interior a bit when it opens. It was easy to program entry codes as well as turn off the beeps for silent access – just follow the directions in the short manual. I originally purchased a different brand: KAER 2-Gun Safe and it was a huge mistake. The key wouldn’t unlock the safe! And the reviews are filled with similar problems with the lock on that safe. Not a good thing, they should actually recall that product and stop selling it. This safe is so much better. Plus, this safe has an anti-prying design, yet another plus. It was shipped in two boxes and very well-protected. The interior box was very thick cardboard and had four metal corner pieces on the top and bottom to protect the corners of the safe from damage during shipping. They went above and beyond to help make sure it arrives in good condition. Overall, this was a great value, well under $200, and I am happy with my purchase so far.

Just what I wanted in my closet to secure a few items like passports, birth certificates, car titles, etc. It was very simple to install as long as you make sure you have a wall with standard stud separation. In closets sometimes, they might have odd spaced studs, but where I placed this, it was just a drywall utility knife, drill/bit/driver, and tape measure. I used my level to draw straight cutting lines.

The safe arrived on time; however, it was unfortunately damaged during shipping. I provided photos and communicated with customer service multiple times to resolve the issue. Despite my efforts, including resending the requested images, the resolution process was slow and ultimately unsatisfactory. The final offer to address the damage was $20, which did not adequately reflect the situation.
It also appeared that responses were repeatedly sent to an incorrect address even after the issue was clarified. This made the process more difficult than expected. Based on this experience, I would encourage buyers to be aware that the company’s return and damage-resolution process may not be as streamlined as larger retailers.
Additionally, for those considering this safe: a standard-size rifle will not fit unless the interior shelf is removed. The shelf is attached with rubber grommets, which can be taken out, but doing so removes valuable storage space.
I had hoped to become a long-term customer, as the products themselves seem promising. Unfortunately, the challenges in resolving this issue have affected that decision.

This came well packaged with steel padded corners and doubled cardboard. The instruction manual is very brief and not very detailed, but adequate enough. You can open the safe with two included keys, or with the fingerprint scanner, which can hold up to 30 different fingerprints. It comes with an external battery pack in case the 4 AAA batteries die, but this seems kind of pointless, since the batteries are accessible from the exterior. It would have made more sense for the batteries to be secured inside the safe. Setting up the fingerprints was easy and effective. There’s a very brief delay when using the scanner to open the safe. Another odd feature is the dial, which turns slightly in either direction, but seems to serve no purpose.
