For the price, this case is excellent. The foam tears nicely and the case is well-built. It’s not as nice as a name-brand Pelican case, but it’s also like 1/10th the price. I can’t imagine that something wouldn’t be protected in this case yet somehow would be protected in a Pelican case.
My one complaint is that the foam does not have a smooth “give” to it. It has high initial compression resistance, followed by a semi-quick crush, and then it bottoms out. Whereas the foam in nicer cases compresses smoothly. But the foam in this is still perfectly adequate for just about anything.
