Good value for the price. It’s not commercial grade but good enough for home use. It’s better and cheaper than the ones commonly found at the box stores. I got the broadcast spreader. Easy assembly and great for taller folks, I’m 6’3″. I spread my first 50lb bag and had good control at low and brisk speeds. The wheels are good too, not the cheap plastic junk. Time will tell on durability but for 80ish bucks, it would be cheaper to replace every year compared to what I was paying for a lawn chemical service.

Assembly was fairly easy. Instructions probably could have been clearer especially for mounting the wheels, but I figured it out. Plastic hopper seems, metal tubular handles and plastic wheels seem durable. Works well as a drop seeder especially where you need a straight edge like around landscaping and property lines. The regulated opening has numbered settings, but the hand-tightened wing nut slips when you move the lever. So starting and stopping the flow needs gentle pressure or your settings will change. Also, it is difficult to get to a setting for overseeding. Works ok overall, but a little pricey for how much assembly is required and the mediocre quality.

Easy to assemble, solid feeling and it works well. Time will tell but I used this three time this summer and it worked like a champ. The wheels roll well over the lawn and it’s easy to maneuver. I like the added cover for storage as well. Yes, it’s just a plastic cover but it fits well and does its job. Nice little unit.

This spreader is well made, rugged and allows you to fill with large bags without having to stop continuously to refill. The wheels are big and handles the load well. Putting it together is wasn’t easy and the instructions were hard to follow as it’s mostly diagrams and pictures, but the parts and pieces were all well packaged and easy to identify. I would definitely recommend if you have a large yard. I have nearly 2 acres and only refilled once.

This came in sooner than expected! The spreader is better than the last two that I bought from Walmart and cheaper. This has the real air tires, which is what you want for grass inclines hose mud. The plastic tires catch up on rough terrain, and will flip over and waste seed or feed. Cable and controller on this spreader is so much better than anything I’ve ever seen on any other spreader. This looks like the pool behind lawnmower spreaders that are about 200 bucks except for it. A hand push the cable for this heavy duty looks like a mountain bike , not that cheap wire on the feeders that you get from Walmart tractor supply etc. don’t waste your money on anything else !

This spreader is awesome. I have a hilly yard and the wide wheel base is great. the large wheels and tires handle the bumps and doesn’t feel like its going to constantly tip over compared to the small box store brands. I’m only 6″ tall and every other spreader I’ve used have very short handles. This spreader has a tall stance so you dont have to bend over to push it. Best spreader I’ve ever used.

I bought this for my spongy Florida lawn. Pushing my old spreader with hard plastic tires that sank into the lawn was just too hard. The pneumatic tires and extra large hopper are perfect. Assembly was a bit more challenging than expected. The assembly video they refer you to is actually wrong so watch the video but pay closer attention to the printed instructions over the video.
