I bought this saw as an upgrade to my Metabo 10” sliding miter saw. despite multiple attempts and calls to tech service, I could never get it to make a perfectly square cut. It was impossible to adjust it properly. This saw has been dead on square since I removed it from the box. It is easier to adjust angles and lock in place and I love the larger blade. It fits imtge same space on my dedicated bench as the Metabo with only minor changes, is no louder, and uses minimal space behind the fence compared to standard sliding miter saws. The only thing I really miss is the laser guide, but I am quickly getting used to the shadow guide on this Vevor model.

Incredible value for the price. I’ve only occasionally needed a mitre saw capable of cutting larger dimension lumber that my fixed dual bevel 10″ saw. I got this to cut composite boards for my deck. It arrived without damage and fully dialed in for accuracy. I’ve been able to adjust mitre cuts by as little as 1/2 degree to accommodate inaccuracy in deck framing to get nearly invisible abutments of boards. Everything about the saw is light duty and I wouldn’t buy it as a contractor, but for the DYIer such as myself it has been ideal.

Works as intended, and is accurate right out of the box. The blade changing instructions leave much to be desired–to be honest, they should be rewriiten with clearer illustrations. But the machine itself is well made, robust, and performs like a $400 saw. If you need one, this is a good buy.

Disappointed right off the bat. No set up instructions. No papers in the box at all. I will try to find it online. Need to know if I can plug this in to 220. Haven’t actually used the saw yet or set it up so hard to give a star-rating. Definitely not 5 stars.

Great saw for the money. Very good cutting capacity is very well-made. Fairly lightweight for the size of the saw and makes excellent cuts. I would recommend this saw as a great value with performance equal to my Dewalt. Also love the shadow line for making more accurate cuts quickly.

I am finally starting to use this miter saw as I purchased it several weeks ago for some upcoming projects. So far it has been enjoyable to use, and is perfect for the construction of a sleeping platform, for a camping trailer. This saw is probably a little more fancy than I actually needed as I am not planning anything complicated like crown molding. I will say the sliding feature is something I am glad I did get. After adding a wood fence so that I could clamp a stop block, it limited the cutting range, and the slide feature easily corrected this. The forward facing slide tubes are a great feature so that the saw can be operated near the wall, or anything else that could get in the way behind the saw. Another great feature is the built in LED work light that also provides the shadow guide feature. I think this saw is around 40lbs, and that was another consideration when purchasing it. I would not want one any heavier than this. The cuts are very clean with the 60 tooth blade . I have been very careful in allowing the blade to fully stop before lifting it up, especially when using a stop block. This is usually how wooden pieces come flying out of miter saws in general. I have had no issues at all by allowing the blade to stop before lifting it out of the work piece..
