Fabulous! We are putting in our yard and needed to build a retaining wall and create a drainage system for dry creek bed. We used this to fabric for both. For the wall, it went between the dirt and the gravel vertically. For the dry creek drainage system, it went horizontal. Easy to use. Great quality! Thick. I loved that we could buy the width, length, and thickness we needed for each project. Will be buying more again!

After trying out and returning more than a couple of fabrics that did not live up to their claims, finally bought the 6 oz Super Geotextile. Wow! It’s fabulous!!! Just what I needed for my post-downspout creek-bed. It’s thick yet totally porous. Feels very felt-like but much stronger. I could not tear it manually, but sharp scissors are good for cutting it. I’m very pleased with this fabric’s performance and think it may outlive me!

Bought first batch of this a little over a year ago to redo some garden paths that were always plagued with weeds. Before using, I tested waterflow through the fabric and it was excellent. Fast forward 1 year and there were just a few weeds in the paths, but they were all in the gravel and on top of the fabric. That is expected and as good as you can hope for.
This year, we realized that our “Creeping Jenny” ground cover is more like Out of Control Jenny. Nearly impossible to remove all of the roots and runners this crazy lady throws out there. Removed what we could and put down some of this fabric, and so far, no Jenny. We’ll see how it holds up during the next year.
It’s still early, but this is the most promising weed barrier I have purchased yet and I have been through a ton of them.
