I should start off by saying that I purchased this as a cutting table, not for use as a workbench. I’ve gotten a lot of use from this workstand and it has greatly improved construction speed and convenience. The reason for only 4 stars is that the 4 plastic cross piece brackets should really be a 10 piece set including one bracket per leg so sufficient cross pieces could be utilized to keep your work from sagging or falling through the table when the cut is complete. The brackets could then be used to support the workpiece lengthwise, as well. It may seem nit-picky to drop a star, but when using it for cutting, sheetgoods and other lumber the purpose is to support the pieces. Overall I am pleased with my purchase, but will need to invest more time and money to either make or purchase more brackets to make it truly a great setup.

The first time I used it was to cut a 4×8 panel in half. The next door neighbors little three year old wanted to know what it was. I had it folded up by then so I told him to grab one corner and pull while I held the opposite corner. He was amazed.
I have a project on top of it right now. My work shop is stuffed pretty full with boat parts so I don’t have floor space for a 4×8 table. I set it up just outside the workshop door to use as a workbench for building the structure for an awning over my workshop door.
