I will concur with other folks who rated this as unfinished, but “good enough” I am quite happy with the purchase: it arrived quickly and let me safely do a slot cutting job in about an hour that would have taken me a day or more to do by drilling and filing. The 4 bolt down holes in the lower section do not line up with the 4 slots in my circular drill press table and so it is currently attached using only 2 bolts. The T-slots are not full width and so I had to file the T-slot nuts to fit, but once that was done the nuts slide smoothly and let me attach the visegrip work piece hold-down clamps. I will eventually take it apart and detail the castings to get the X-Y operations a bit smoother and I do understand that this does not really turn my drillpress into a milling machine, but I successfully cut 24 slots 3/8″ wide and an inch long, in a bunch of 1/4″ thick 7000 series aluminum plates using a 1/4″ endmill, so I’d call it a bargain.

A well made table for my mill at home. It’s well made and the quality is pretty good.
I did have one of the adjustment wheel broken upon arrival but they shipped me a new one quickly and with no hassles.
I also use this on my drill press for a few different things and it works great for that as well.
I’d definitely buy it again if I ever decide I want to have 2!

Heavy duty. Adapted for use with my drill press. I wanted more head height so I have a drill press riser extension being machined currently to proved and extra 4.5” in height. Table size interferes with the Height adjust crank so I found that a 3/8 drive extension fits the crank and a 1/2 to 3/8 fits the height adjust drive shaft. So just need to drill the 1/2 adapter to allow a set screw to tighten down on the shaft. This way the crank handle can also be removed when not needed.

I still have (the expected for this price point) work to do smoothing out the sliding surfaces and gibs, as well as, trying to take some backlash out of the lead screws and bearings. What really surprised me was the sloppiness of some of the casting. I had to grind out with a Dremel tool about 1/3 the length of the bottom of two of the “Tee” slots so nuts would slide in. It will be ok for placing drill holes when all of this work is completed but not for work requiring any type of precision.
