Hi, I ordered this Magnetic drill, and bought Annular bits separately because none came with this promotion. First off the drill is made really well, if you want to use the chuck for twist drills you can move the motor up by loosing up the allen screw and sliding the motor up, and you will have all the space you need. Why Vevor doesn’t mention this is a mystery. This drill weighs in ar 40lbs, the magnet is incredibly strong, the variable speed is great (no reverse). All in All a great piece of equipment. I’m an industrial Millwright by trade, and i would definitely recommend Vevors mag drills. If you want a mag drill with reverse for tapping, make sure you check the specs on the drill, because the pictures make them look all the same size, but there not!! Some of the ones with reverse are smaller, weighing in at about (27lbs) with a smaller magnet base, still a very nice Mag drill, but A stronger magnet usually means a heavier drill. I personally love them both. The heavy one that weighs (40lbs) I’m using on my welding table, the smaller one with reverse (27lbs) I’m using on vertical drilling so its not to heavy to set up. The Annular bits are a( A+)

Right after I received this tool the winch on my lowboy trailer went out. This magnetic drill with an annular cutter quickly drilled out the 1:2” thick steel mounting plate with ease, precisely where I wanted the mounting and clearance holes, and this was all done on the off-grid job site with the assistance of a generator for AC power. I would definitely buy another one!

The mag drill is a beast. It works incredible given the cost, it literally performs as good as a red brand tool I’ve used before at 10% the cost. The magnet is powerful, the speed dial is great, and it has plenty of torque to really push the bits through.
My honest review is 9/10.
The ONLY negatives I’ve found – the speed control is touchy do’s low rpm, but that is to be expected in my opinion. The rails that the drill head rides in may require some infrequent adjusting. At first it took effort (minimal) to crank the head down and up – now it basically doesn’t “hold its self up”. Lastly, the oiling can has to be wide open to ge adequate flow while using annular cutters.
