I purchased this item because I do alot of heat welded floors for hospitals and was skeptical at 1st because the price was so low but I can tell you bv that its paid for itself multiple times I couldn’t be happier with the product I would recommend it to anyone

I have one of these welders we purchased for nearly $500 and they are identical. When i say identical they have the same element mfg etc…. Just doesnt have a US company name on it. Heat settings are execellent if your welding any PVC BDU etc

This hot air welder is of good quality and priced well below what seem to be identical welders with different brand names. The welder functioned well for applying 4.5-inch round PVC patches to a hail-damaged Duro-Last PVC flat roof. However, it takes practice to weld the patches. Start with a lower hea.t dial number and work your way up to the right amount for your project. When you don’t apply quite enough heat, not all of the patch sticks. But you can re-weld it wherever the edge didn’t stick.
When you apply too much heat, the roof starts to scorch, with a brown tint. There’s a fine balance, but you’ll get the hang of it pretty quickly. Check out available YouTube videos before using the welder.
