If the power goes out, you can pull down the red string handle to switch the opener to manual mode. When the power is restored, pull down the green string handle, and the opener will return to automatic mode.

Every easy to install and operate, with little modification it can be mounted to a janus 3100 seris door ( 8×20) wind rated door , only negative it only comes with 2 remotes and having a hard to find a unverisal remotes to work with this motor . Overall for price and functionality beats spending 1300 on a lift master or the ata dominator
