I got this wave maker to add some current to my 75 gallon aquarium. This wave maker works very well and has a bunch of settings to choose from. the issues i have with this wave maker is that it doesn’t have a setting to make a gentle current. If you have any floating or delicate live plants, they wont like the current even at its lowest setting. Lastly, if you have any longfin or tall fish, like discus or angelfish, they wont enjoy this flow pump either. Otherwise, it does what its suppose to do.

This wave maker can be set for gentle currents to strong flow depending on the need. Recommended for versatility.

This is the best quality wave maker I currently own. It has a TON of different wave settings and even a setting to reverse and self clean. I am very likely to be purchasing and second and third one since they can be linked together and the wave movement even from one seems extremely realistic. Would 100% recommend, even for larger tanks.

Overall this is a huge win for price and value for the money in reef aquarium gear. I ran it through the paces, and tried all the setting to see if it had any issues, and there were no problems even running it at full blast. I have dialed it back to a more useable setting and it’s been working fine since that day.

I put this wave maker in my 30 gallon tank. I was planning on putting it in my 100 gallon but it is recommended by the company to have two – one one either end – for a tank that size. Not a problem, I had many to choose from. It is not invasive but keeps a nice steady current. I like that there are multiple options for types of waves and strength of waves. I also really like that it is sensitive to the amount of light in the tank and naturally decreases the waves as the light decreases. You can also temporarily pause the mechanism for ten minutes so that the fish can feed without the circulation. Simple to clean as it will self clean with the touch of a button. This little wave generator is very well thought out, works well and is well worth the price. Just know if you have a large tank, the company recommends using two or more of these to get effective waves.

Best pump that I ever bought I use it to transfer water when I do water changes for my aquarium very quiet I would definitely recommend this product trust me I’m very picky but this one right here sold me thinking about buying a couple more just to keep on the side

It’s a nice pump. Quiet and strong. I am using it as a return pump for my 65 gallon reef tank and it is strong enough on its lowest speed. It’s not a “wave maker” in a sense where the digital controller is going to automatically change the speed but that’s fine for my application.

I can’t give this WaveMaker less than 5 stars. For the price you cant beat it. The magnet that holds it to the tank is VERY strong. Its not going anywhere when you mount it. I have it in a 75 gallon tank to make current for my Aulonocara Benga Baenschi. And it works perfectly. They will get taken by the wave if they sit still and let it take them. They have to swim against the current when it’s on full power. When I turn it to lowest setting, there isn’t too much of a current. Feeding mode is higher flow than the lowest setting. The cord is long enough to get to the other side of my 75 gallon and go into the surge protector I have mounted to the wall. The cord to the controller is also long enough to go on the other side of my 4 foot 75 gallon tank. It doesn’t seem to be noisy. Only thing that they could add is a mode that makes it stop and not restart until started. I have to unplug when I feed brine shrimp to my fish. 5 stars for sure. I bought this wavemaker for 30 dollars. I just looked and its $45. Is it worth $45? Absolutely. Being honest, I think the 30 dollar price point I bought this at was a deal maker. Its the best I could get at a $30 price point. Im glad I bought it then because I wasnt looking to spend $50 on a wavemaker. 9/10 don’t hesitate to buy this wave maker.

Order arrived undamaged and was easy to install, having the different size attachments is a great option! The GPH is great and can be controlled without having to add a valve! I look forward to using the pump is different situations. The pimp runs cool and will not raise your water temp, I highly recommend this pump!
