I purchased this to pick up the miriads of nails and other metal debris left behind by an old, wooden pole barn salvage. The good wood was harvested. The rest was burned in place.
All in all the sweeper did its job. It removed about 75 pounds of tire-popping stuff from the burn piles and the surrounding lawn.
I had to raise the clearance for use in my “bumpy” yard. It really wasn’t intended for very bumpy surfaces.
The adjustment process was a pain. You must dismantle each end of the sweeper, loosen and re tighten some nuts to shift the axles, and then reassemble. Two of the 8 screws holding the end plates were stripped from the factory. Fortunately, 3 on each end was enough to hold it together.
If you are going to use this sweeper on a fairly flat surface like a shop floor, it will work great right out of the box
If you use the sweeper on a bumpy lawn and burn pile, be prepared to increase the clearance and do a lot of brute force manipulation.
Even with the construction quality issues and bumpy surface difficulties, it did its job and was worth the price paid.

Let me start by saying that I immediately was relieved by the entire process, at this time of year, when it feels like I’m returning more things then I’m buying….as if i have time for that. Quality product, prompt and accurate delivery (although i realize sometimes thats out of their control)…..and i was ready to self initiate an act of gratitude by going 5/5 across the board until i noticed (just as i finished fine tuning the wheel nut tightness) 1/3 of the plastic on the knob handle for raising and lowering the shaft was broken off. Im still willing to go 5/5 stars but for the love of god i dont want to return the whole thing i just want a new little knob. I actually just put together an air hose reel from Vevor too and that thing is sweet, and i came back on here to find a similar hose reel for a water hose and ended up getting distracted and bought a popup tent…..please vevor just send me a knob and we all good!

I got this to not only help me find small parts that were dropped on the floor, but also to pick up forge scale and let me tell you it works great for both! It took maybe 10 minutes to assemble. Being able to disengage the magnet is a really nice feature, it lets everything drop off the chassis instead of you having to clean up a bare magnet. Totally worth the price, if you’re thinking about it, get one.
