Strong and well built. Heavy but easy to use. I suspended mine from a chain off back corner of bucket. Tie a rope to handles to guide and open jaws. The claw works great like this. You have to manually open jaws when you put tree down or whatever you are moving. My 1st item was a big palm tree. It worked great. Wish I would have taken a picture.

I was impressed withe the quality of this grapple hook. It is heavy duty and looks like it could lift anything. The points are sharp enough and angled correctly to grab and hold first try. Easy attach and easy detach. The only criticism I have is the assembly instructions are overly simplified. Although there only 4 bolts to install; there is only one right way to install them and 3 wrong ways. Even with the instruction sheet, it took me 2 tries to get it right.

Ok so I want to skid logs with these tongs. Most single tongs will end up bent if you grab anywhere but at very end allowing tong sides to bypass the end completely.
Not with these! I can grab anywhere on log and skid them! Because of the double tong connected together it makes them way stronger like a truss.
My first test I pulled out a dozen logs, some of them 40 feet long. Largest was 20″ diameter, no problems and no bends yet! And I wasn’t being easy on them either.
I like em!
Only “issue” I had was that the stickers used to match them during assembly must have been put on wrong.
I also added some washers as they don’t align perfectly when assembled and I wanted a better fitment.
I mean they would work fine unshimmed but I like things a bit closer to perfect.
I’m impressed with them! Though I would bend them on my first log! Nope!
And Guess what? With a little practice, you don’t have to leave the seat of your machine! (I’m using mini-ex)

Paid for it self first use. The heavy lifting I used to do was accomplished by the clamps. Lifting and stacking heavy logs was not a problem. It lifted logs that would raise the rear tires on my tractor. Used them to drag logs on to my trailer without a problem. Built really well. Definitely worth what I paid for them.
