Features & Details

  • Durable and Sturdy: Constructed from cast steel, this single horn anvil is built to last with excellent resistance to damage and deformation, ensuring long-term use. The surface undergoes a heat treatment process at 800℃, achieving a hardness of 50 HRC, enhancing its impact resistance and corrosion protection.
  • Efficient Forging: The cast steel anvil features a rebound rate greater than 70%, ensuring the forging surface deforms evenly. After each strike, the metal material quickly returns to its original shape, helping to minimize the need for repeated processing and improving forging efficiency.
  • Upgraded Design: Our round horn anvil features a cutting table specifically engineered for cutting tasks, preventing dents in adjacent areas. The thick base design minimizes movement and deformation during processing, enhancing overall stability.
  • Multi-Functional Holes: The anvil for blacksmithing is precision-crafted with smoother and more refined functional holes. The pritchel hole is ideal for bending and shaping, while the hardy hole is ideal for accessories, punching, and bending. It can be clamped or bolted to your workbench to stay stationary during use, ensuring excellent performance.
  • Ideal for Beginner Blacksmiths: Weighing 55 lbs, with a working surface of 15.9 x 3.2 in / 403 x 81 mm, this blacksmith anvil is ideal for blacksmithing tasks like riveting, flattening, forging, and shaping. It's also an excellent choice for hobbyists or DIY enthusiasts. This medium-sized anvil provides great reliability without sacrificing portability, making it perfect for small to medium-sized projects.

This anvil is worth every penny it is solid well-made cast steel not cast-iron and it has a tremendous rebound. Highly recommend for anybody getting into blacksmithing or even a seasoned blacksmith

I was shocked to see a steel anvil for this price. Here in Texas you can’t find an anvil that’s not going for $5-$6 a pound. For the money it’s a total steel (get it?)!

The pritchel and hardy holes are fantastically placed and easy to use your favorite implement or jig. The horn is free of the “bondo” that others say is inherent in the blue type anvils. The edges needed to be ground down to not make them so sharp but that was 2 mins with a file and angle grinder.

The only thing that I need to figure out though is how to silence it as it rings like a bell. I’ve tried silicon underneath, chains wrapped around it, sound deadening rubber for the bottom, etc. Just know that you’re getting a bada$$ tool and a ridiculously good price and you’ll be able to announce the time for the hour on the hour.

I mounted my 110 lb anvil to an ash stump, dressed the anvil, and used it to set some Damascus and it worked well. I made a couple of Hardy tools already and the anvil seems really well made. I had a 90% rebound on it with a ball bearing. The only issue I see and it’s not really an issue is the Hardy hole is an inch and a quarter 1 in would be a lot more user friendly. Overall a very good anvil. I’m happy they finally made a London pattern and 110 lb.

Fedex lost my anvil in route but Vevor was fantastic and refunded my money and sent me a new anvil that I’m very happy with and I left the review for that on another page. Great customer service.

Nice Anvil. Heavy, but works great.

  7. Verified Customer

    Good for the money

Quality tool, a must in any shop. Big enough for small forging, when secured to a heavy table the anvil can definitely handle some serious metal working. Very attractive shape when compared to other designs in my opinion.

  9. Verified Customer

The anvil isn’t as hard as it needs to be. I have dented it just swinging my hammer and hitting the metal im working on. I know you pay for what you get but its alittle crazy that an anvil should be able to take hits and not indent from it.

  10. Verified Customer

Great anvil for the price, great horn shape and overall dimensions.
I’m a full time farrier and this anvil is great for the shop. I had reservations about the cast steel construction, but the rebound is impressive.
