As a flooring store owner for a decade I have to say I was pretty impressed with this product. As long as you understand the limitations of polypropylene carpet tiles (limited wear in high traffic) I think you’ll be happy with this product. It has a felt/bitumen back, which is standard for entry level carpet tile. It’s a cheap carpet tile, but still a great value and similar to products made by major US based manufacturers. Probably made in the same factories in China where US manufacturers have their carpet tile made. I had never used the glue tabs to do a floating carpet tile installation before, but I was surprised with how well that worked. Me and my 11 year old son installed this in a garage conversion in about a day. I used gorilla tape facing up to add some extra stability to the edge pieces. I would recommend rolling it with a 50-75# roller if you have one to fully push the tile into the adhesive tabs. If not, one of the rollers with body weight behind it would work fine as well.
