We have chosen thick soundproofing materials with a surface layer of reflective aluminum foil. The aluminum foil has also passed B1-level fire resistance testing, eliminating any safety concerns. It’s suitable for all seasons—spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
Our soundproofing mat sets features a high-strength adhesive that requires no additional manual application. Simply peel off the backing paper, and it will stick firmly in both high-temperature and low-temperature conditions.

This stuff is way above factory quality. The sound deadening is really good, it’s insulation quality is top notch. It doesn’t just insulate against sound but by putting a few layers on the inside and the outside of the vans doghouse (engine cover inside the cab) then adding a screws to hold the tin on over this sound deadening material… The combination of the 4 layers made it so talking when driving you no longer need to raise your voice not to mention the heat that was leaking into the driver and passenger area is virtually gone. The only advice i’d recommend is to make sure the temperature of the panels are above 80 degrees Fahrenheit or warmer. After they are warmed up put them in a pre-warmed cooler by using a heating pad in the bottom of the cooler to keep them warm just make sure your heating pad is on its lowest setting. Then preheat your vehicles interior with a heater to at least to 75 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure everything you apply the pads to is pre cleaned with rubbing alcohol and make sure it’s dry before installing the panel pads. Your results will look and stay attached as if a professional installation had been done. Just make sure to properly clean, preheat, and use a firm rubber OR wood roller to get the best adhesions. Where leather work gloves as you never know when you might catch something sharp like a piece of metal, fiberglass, or even the occasional screw tip. While putting o on the final touches when applying the panels. If you have a noisy vehicle interior… The additional panels you add you will drastically reduce your interior noise so don’t use to little of these panels and don’t forget the areas you don’t see behind the door panels or most any other panels. You’ll be glad you did… 😃

I’ve used almost every brand. When it comes to thickness this stuff is the business. Thick amd works like it should. Great stuff. Its a little harder to work then others but that’s because its thicker and more dense. Put it in the sun or use a heat gun. Makes installation a lot easier.
