Heavy duty unit. Well made. Wish they had made the unit longer to accommodate a longer hydraulic cylinder. The 12″ cylinder that comes with the unit is not able to move the thumb back far enough out of the way for digging and other operations. It sticks down at almost a 90 degree angle from the arm when fully open. Other than that this is a very good product. Caution, the wire lock pins that hold the (3) main support pins, comes off easily when using thumb in brush. I lost (2) and ended up tweaking one end of the thumb because a main pin partially came out while picking up a pile of brush. I ended up replacing the wire lock pins with large cotter pins.

The thumb itself is structurally great. The 6″ hydraulic cylinder was way too short to be useful. I ended up cutting the bracket and buying a 16″ stroke 1.5″ bore cylinder and now it can open way up and have around 130 degrees of movement.
In hindsight, I should have bought the non-hydraulic thumb and added my own cylinder since I ended up having to get completely different hoses for the new cylinder I bought.

Works good on our tb135, had to reinforce around main pin after hundred hours of serious use. Will take everything the excavator can throw at it.

The unit works well. I welded mine in place. The hydraulics work well. The pins that hold the pieces in place are weak. I have bent one. Also the clips that hold the pins are convenient but brush will cause them to slip out.
