Very easy assembly. Does a fine job of spreading bagged topsoil over grass seed. I did add soil improver to the topsoil mix.

During rye overseeding in the fall, I had to rent a compost spreader to spread peat moss. Now I have my own spreader, and I am very happy about that.
The only thing that was unexpected about the spreader was that I had to assemble it. I was expecting to receive the spreader drum and I only needed to attach a handle to the drum. Instead, I had to assemble the drum which took some time, and the holes did not line up to insert the bolts. Other than that, the spread is fine.
I have already used the spreader to spread peat moss, and it works just as well the spreader I have rented.
