The unit is a little awkward heavy. If you’re trying to cut straight lines you will need good jigs.
It cuts (about a 1/4″ slot) clean with no dust and is one of the quietest metal cutting devises we have used.

So far the tool has worked great! no complaints cuts 29 gauge tin and 24 gauge corner trim with no problem at all. i needed this for crosscuts and it is a game changer compared to my manual hand snips I usually use for crosscuts.

This was used to cut metal sheets for roofing or siding. It cuts the sheets without issue and does so at a pretty good clip. It is easy to use and saves a ton of time if you have a lot of metal cutting to do. When it cuts it does produce half moon metal clippings that fall underneath it as it cuts. I would suggest cutting on a surface that is easy to clean up the metal pieces such as cement because it does not have a catch basin.

I purchased this to cut corrugated metal siding for a pole building. The cutter worked great, the blades are reposition to allow cutting from different directions which is helpful when cutting corrugated type metal. Overall these are a great value for the price. I would not recommend them for a commercial use but for occasional homeowner work they are well worth the money.

The machine does cut ribbed shed metal. Holding the machine in the correct cutting position is challenging. It does leave little moon shaped metal pieces in your work area.
The delivery was not what was stated, so I had to delay the project that I used the machine to complete.
