I bought this to replace a 1/4″ Skil ratchet I had. It’s similar in size but the ability to swap batteries is really nice so I always have one ready to go. It’s got decent power and was easily able to remove the bolts on my truck skid plates. I’d say for the price/performance it’s easily worth a buy.

I really like this ratchet. Just finished removing all the plastic and rack off of a Honda four wheeler and reinstalling. It comes in very handy, especially in tight places where it’s difficult to move a manual ratchet back-and-forth. Add a 3/8 extension and spin it out. The impact action will break out small bolts. Break out larger bolts with a manual ratchet and spin them out with the electric ratchet. Saves time and wear and tear on your arthritic wrist if you are like me. I use it to spin long winded bolts near snug and then use a manual ratchet,or torque wrench to tighten. I like it so much I bought another and gave one to a buddy for Christmas. Both batteries came charged and I haven’t even put a dent in the first battery yet. Still shows full charge. A professional mechanic would probably want something more heavy duty at much greater expense, but this works great for me.
