We are using this for bearded dragon eggs and since they have multiple clutches this is perfect since there is 3 lvls and each clutch does not get disturbed with another one. Works as it should. My only wish is that you could switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit and dial your temps in to the half degree. Warmer at the top shelf than on the bottom as is expected I suppose. Other than those minor things so far so good!

I have the small 5L incubator and the larger 25L Vevor incubator and I absolutely love them. I don’t use them as reptile incubators ….I use them for bread proofing/bulking of my bread dough and starters. I use my 5 L for my sourdough starter because it is smaller. I set it at 15 or 16 Celsius and only feed her once every 24 hours or so. She doesn’t seem to get acidic this way. My 25 L I use for bulking my dough overnight or for cold retarding it at 15 c as well. They are a PERFECT addition to my bread baking. P.S. We also just recently purchased a sewage pump for our basement. Great quality !

I was struggling with my kefir grains fermenting too fast once the weather warmed up (I live in central Florida). I stumbled upon a suggestion to use a reptile incubator so I could better control the temperature, both hot & cold. This incubator solved my problems. I set it at 20C and can set a clock on the time it takes to ferment to my liking, about 24 hours. My results have never been more consistent!
I ferment in one quart Ball jar. I set the shelf on the bottom of the incubator on top of the grate that’s also included. The jar sits about 6 inches below the fan. You can fit three quart jars in fine, maybe four, or two 1/2 gallon jars if you ferment in larger sizes.
