I bought this so that we would have a way to check our laser for accuracy. Once this arrived we put the laser in the truck and haven’t brought it back out yet. For the price you cannot beat it ! Of course I’ll need to look into details of how to recalibrate if anything were to happen to it, these tools are sensitive instruments, so keep that in mind for storing it. Great price for an excellent tool, would buy again 100%

Buy it now! Don’ think twice! This is a great piece of equipment for anyone. From planting trees in a straight line to putting up fence posts.
You cannot beat old school not even with the laser level. What this optical level can do is align posts on a straight line and/or on level the same posts. For the price I recommend getting the heavy duty tripod, you will not regret it.

Why only 4 stars in the features you ask? Well I wish there was another optical level with more power say 50X magnification. I got the 26X and it works for aligning fence posts 300 feet apart, with ease!

Identical to Bosch, GDL 26, probably made in the same Chinese factory, advertised at 4x the Vevor price. So what’s the difference? Well, Vevor does not sell spare parts, they provide no technical support after sale, the warranty is meaningless, and when the unit arrives damaged, they do not give you your money back. And, via multiple emals, they will tell you how a broken pivot on the gimbal-mounted optical compensator really isn’t broken, I just don’t know how to use it. I can only guess what Bosch thinks of their tactics, but the fact is, we are all lured by cheap prices, and I’ll continue to selectively buy from Vevor, anticipating that 1 in 5 items will go in the trash. The economics still work for me.
