Detailed Overview

5000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger
This pure sine wave inverter charger automatically switches power sources, ensuring continuous power during grid outages or voltage fluctuations, securing your electronics from damage.
Q: What is the difference between an inverter charger and an inverter?
A: The Inverter acts as a DC to AC converter that allows you to power your household appliances. However, the inverter charger combines both power supply and charging functions. It not only converts DC from the battery into AC but also charges the battery to ensure a continuous power supply for your devices.

Q: What specifications should I consider when purchasing an inverter?
A: Before purchasing, consider the following points:
Power requirements: Make sure the inverter charger can meet your device’s power needs.
Compatibility: Ensure the output and input are compatible with your battery and devices.
Charging speed: Choose a product with high charging efficiency and fast charging speed.
Security protection: Prioritize models with multiple security protection features to ensure secure usage.

Q: Can I monitor this inverter charger using a Bluetooth module with my phone? Which Bluetooth module should I purchase?
A: We apologize that there is no Bluetooth module compatible with this inverter charger.

I purchased this mainly to replace my 24V battery charger. This is a 3000 watt PV supplied power source to 24 75AH lead acid batteries to power light and heat to 2 chicken coups, refrigerator, freezer, and power tools in the yard. The yard tools are wired through the 120V output to ensure 1500 watts of power. The included 20 inch 2 wire 6AWG were too short for my install and I replaced them with single 2 AWG inputs. The top handles on the case are a nice feature as is the removable remote monitor panel. Also plenty of 120V, 1200 watt outlets. For a full 5000 watt inverter bypass this unit must be wired with 120V, 8 AWG wire on a circuit with a 50A breaker so keep that in mind if you intend to use it with large loads supplied from the AC input. I found that the input/output access cover should have been notched out more to give a straight line to the ground wires and the upper lip on it tends to press into the wire insulation on the wires.
The website states this has a generator mode but there isn’t any automatic generator start function. Generator input is a manual input connection. Battery compatibility is done by manually setting the parameters of your specific batteries as described in the instruction manual.
This is the 2nd inverter I’ve purchased from Vevor and expect this one to be reliable as the 1st.

Quick install. Excellent packaging. Works excellent.

  3. Verified Customer

so far it is working good

  4. Verified Customer

Very good quality, It has powered my off-grid house for months with no issue. Refrigerator, freezer, well pump, coffee pot and 12,000 BTU mini split AC/Heat. Very satisfied with this unit.

This is the one to get, look no further. Everything needed, nothing not. true 120 volts produced, accurate 60 hertz, strong cooling fans, quiet and come on only when needed. Haven’t used the charger function. Do not be misled by the price, this is professional equipment. I have had several others over the years and this is far superior to them. Very easy to set up and use.

Worked great for two months on an epic road trip under constant use

It’s nice but the settings for the battery charging are not self explanatory. And the instructions aren’t helpful. You pretty much have to take a class on battery charging to figure it out. Plus I haven’t got it to charge a battery to 100 percent yet. Otherwise great inverter.

I have only had my inverter for about a month, but great so far. It came very quickly and since this was my first time buying from Vevor, I was impressed and was easy it install. It was a little heavy, but that made me feel good about the build quality.
I loved the ability to choose the amps for the charging feature, so if I am needing to charge my batteries quickly, I can do so.
I am hopeful this will last, but so far I love it

12 Volt 2000 watts This is an Amazing inverter / charger. it’s super powerful, it’s a quality made unit, it’s an unbelievable price for all the Awesomeness you get, It has all the fancy features in it that the $900 plus units have in them and it’s quiet. When you open this inverter up, to remove the remote / on off switch panel, take a look inside this thing, it’s impressive and that’s coming from a UCLA grade electrical engineer. The remote readout does not show watts and I am a bit of a watts nerd, it does show load and you can then figure it out, but for a watts nerd, I’m going to have to get a watt’O’meter, Ha!!!! This inverter makes my already awesome quality electronics work even better, I know, that sounds crazy but you will see. It puts out a true 120 volts when on battery power and when plugged into AC and on AC priority it will put out the same amount of voltage that is put into it. The 2000 Watts available coming from this inverter, is supposedly only coming from and only available from the hardwired AC output port. The 3, 3 wire plug port’s that you can plug directly into the inverter itself are recommended to keep at a max of 1200 watts each, mind you, as I mentioned there’s 3 plugs, so if you ran 1200 wants in each outlet that’s 3600 watts which from the tech info, this inverter can handle for a short time? FYI, I have not tested that!! If you are gonna be drawing a lot of current constantly, you just use the AC hardwire output terminal and wire this unit right into your needs. Me personally, I am using only 1 of the 3 available direct AC plug in outlet’s on this inverter. I did test and I do dally use my OXO hot water kettle (Again, only using 1 of the available 3 plug’s) my kettle does draw a constant 1350 watts and the inverter works it great, with no issues. Listen with skepticism to reviewers, (With that statement, I am contradicting myself? Ha!!!) yes this inverter has some quirks and those quirks are, if you don’t understand how the inverter w

TL;DR; Bought this Inverter charger to act as UPS, Backup power and Cost saving tool (Time of use energy plan).

    The Good:

    – It is excellent build quality, especially for the price.
    – It will happily do the 6000W, and is quiet while running the inverter for steady 1000-2000W loads (Not tested it for high amperage long time loads yet).
    – Its switch over time from AC to Battery draw appears virtually instantaneous (Multiple pieces of sensitive electronic equipment experienced no interruption).
    – It works well with LifePo4 batteries with smart BMS’s that will cut off charging themselves (I am using 3 WattCycle Rack Mount Batteries), and if configured correctly I think it would work well for any other charging senarios too.
    – The multiple included 1200W plug sockets are a nice feature that have meant I didn’t need to wire in my own as of yet.

    The Bad:

    – The AC terminals are positioned in an odd way and if there is any movement I think the AC terminal cover could wear the insulation off a wire over time, so be careful when wiring this up to ensure things are kept secure.
    – The AC Terminals don’t appear sized for 6AWG Copper wire, so be careful when wiring this up.

The Ugly (neutral / Good to know):

    – The inverter appears to be transformer based, so it is heavy, bulky and makes a low humming noise.
    – I do wish the controller had the ability to take external signaling, or do time of day charging, but thats usually only something you see from more expensive products.
    – When charging and the charger reaches 40deg c, the fans come on FULL BLAST for a short time and then turn off, I wish they would PWM to reduce or increase speed to deal with the heat in a quieter and more consistent way, but again, thats usually only something you see from more expensive products.
    – The controller is not “smart” and doesn’t have profiles for battery types, so make sure you know what charging voltage, float voltage, high and low voltage cut offs etc should be, and configure the inverter charger to match your batteries spec, this product has some sensible defaults but they will need optimized for your battery to prevent damage or charging issues.
    – This TECHNICALLY would require a 50A breaker (and appropriate wiring) to draw full 120VAC @ 50A (6000W), if you are planning to use from a normal wall socket (No AC cables included), make sure you add a breaker or fuse to prevent tripping the whole house.

Overall, if you need something inexpensive but powerful, this is it. You’re getting what you pay for, but at a good quality.
