Very thin jacket, but works well for welding and grinding to keep sparks off my normal clothes. I have long arms but the jacket arms are relatively long and when used with welding gloves, my skin isn’t exposed at all. Jacket folds up very small so it’s good to take with you on the road. I am able to fit it inside my welding mask which protects the mask a bit and gives me a place to keep the jacket.
Jacket is comfortable and I ordered up a size on purpose to give me a little more room to move around and it’s been perfect, not too baggy at all. Jacket seems well made, no stitching coming loose or poor workmanship like I’ve seen on other lower quality welding jackets. Good option if you want more movement than a leather apron, may not be enough protection for big welding jobs but I’m just using this for small stick welding in my garage so it’s been great. Looks a lot like a normal jacket so it could be good if you need to weld but also interface with customers/clients without removing a big apron.
