We were excited to get this at such a great price. When we started using it,milk was coming from the vent hose. The directions were NOT clear at all so I reached out to the manufacturer with no response. My wife worked with it several times before FINALLY figuring it out. It works great and is faster and less tiring than hand milking. We are expanding our herd and will eventually buy the larger capacity version. I’d recommend it to anyone. Simple to operate once you figure out the hose placement. It didn’t help that our stickers were torn off of the hoses so.it was like playing Whack-A-Mole with finding the right configuration. Other than poor instructions we are very pleased with the unit

I completely removed the float and some plastic tubing at the connection to the float because it made the passage to narrow and the pumping of the milk was a trickle. But now that that junk is out of the way it works great.
