This is the first drill guide of this type I try and it’s by far the best. It’s quite sturdy and drills straight since it’s mostly made of metal. Probably the best tool if it’s kind.

Not bad for the price, but minor slop between the guide and the posts results in some angular ambiguity – no impact to the immediate project as hole precision requirements were not too onerous.

Well built. A little movement while using if not pressing hard enough so some grips underneath would make it even better. Used to make 3/4 inch dog holes in a work bench. Depth stops work great and saved money on it. Not perfect but would still recommend

My 1st time trying a “pocket-doweling jig”, and works well and pretty fun to use… this spartan model not super well-aligned, but definitely gets the job done.
